About Us
Moriarty Foundation
Sydney-headquartered Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) Moriarty Foundation was established in 2012 by Yanyuwa NT man John Moriarty, a business owner/Indigenous advocate/cultural leader, and business owner/author/social investor Ros Moriarty. We are creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in NSW, Qld and NT have the best start so they thrive and reach their full potential.
We tailor our approach to meet local challenges and needs in communities, with local employment and staff development at the centre of our sustainability. Moriarty Foundation delivers two programs that follow the whole-of-child lifecycle from birth to 18, Indi Kindi (early years program) and John Moriarty Football (football skills mastery program). This role is with Indi Kindi.
Indi Kindi
Indi Kindi provides holistic, community-driven and delivered early learning for children up to five years old, integrating Aboriginal worldviews and languages through its innovative Walking Learning®. The Indi Kindi early years program promotes educational, health, and wellbeing outcomes, where the focus is on the children’s and families’ unique strengths. Local Aboriginal educators and program mentors provide guidance and professional support to implement the “Walking Learning®” curriculum model. The program is designed around the cultural and cognitive assets of young Aboriginal learners providing a strong foundation for future learning and success. We align with The Early Years Framework for Australia.
About the job

Indi Kindi promotes healthy growth and development through daily messaging of: ‘Eat well’, ‘Drink well’, ‘Clean well’, ‘Play well’.
