About the Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Full Stack / API Software Engineers to join a high-performing technology team delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions within a large and complex government environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work across modern cloud-native platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications while contributing to large-scale transformation and integration initiatives. You will play a key role in software development, technical leadership, system integration, and continuous improvement activities within an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
* Design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs
* Participate in technical analysis, architecture and solution design activities
* Develop modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
* Deliver RESTful API solutions and system integrations
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes and enhancements
* Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation
* Support testing, release management and deployment activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
* Produce and maintain technical documentation and deployment artefacts
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring and peer reviews

Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid Canberra-based role. Successful candidates will initially work onsite full-time during onboarding and transition periods. Flexible working arrangements may be considered thereafter, with ongoing onsite attendance requirements.
