About the Role
We're seeking an enthusiastic and result-driven Sales Representative to grow our brand and strengthen our presence across FNQ's hardware, trade, and specialist retail sector. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you'll manage a defined territory, build strong relationships with key accounts, and drive sales growth through product promotion, demonstrations, and strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
* Regularly visit hardware, trade, and specialist accounts across FNQ to maintain strong relationships and ensure product distribution meets customer needs.
* Valid driver's licence required for territory management and regular site visits.
* Achieve sales and expense targets while identifying opportunities to increase market share.
* Promote products through demonstrations, in-store displays, trade nights, and training programs.
* Manage Group Accounts within the FNQ territory, including Sydney Tools, Trade Tools, Total Tools, independents and specialists.
* Plan call cycles, update CRM and forecast sales.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and provide feedback to management.
* Take full ownership of accounts: merchandising, staff training, product range management, and customer service excellence.
* Accurately forecast product requirements for base business and promotions.
* Develop new opportunities to further drive brand and market share.
What We're Looking For
* 2–3 years' sales experience in hardware, retail, or wholesale, with proven success developing profitable territories.
* Proven ability to develop and grow a profitable territory.
* Strong customer focus, negotiation skills, and ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Highly organised, results-driven, with attention to detail and strong follow-through.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools.
* A Marketing or Business degree is highly regarded but not essential.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
