An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Application Developer .Net to work on a portfolio of application projects, contributing to the complete application lifecycle from inception, architecture, design, development to support. As a member of the Digital Team, you will be required to assist the organisation on a number of application development projects. The Digital Team is divided into three (3) groups - (i) Customer Experience, (ii) Team experience and (iii) BAU. You will also be required to provide Tier 3 application support by investigating incidents, fixing bugs, developing improvements and performing maintenance function on current portfolio of bespoke .Net applications. Required mandatory skills: C#; Demonstrated experience writing Single Page Applications (SPA) such as React, Angula, Vue;MVC/Web API; Strong knowledge of SQL Server (from an application development perspective); Entity Framework; Geospatial concepts; Front end framework experience (e.g. Angular and/or React); SQL Server Reporting Services; PowerBI; Azure Logic Apps and/or Function Apps; ARM Templates Power Platform; Good knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies; Software and system design and good knowledge of database and system modelling skills; and Knowledge of MS Power Platform. To be successful you will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and engage with various stakeholders. You will have positive knowledge and substantial experience in the above-mentioned skill set, as well as sound knowledge of geospatial concepts and Agile software development methodologies. This role will suit an Application Developer who has strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, who is able to work unsupervised and is focused on producing high-quality work.
