The Client Our client is a well-established values‐led organisation operating within the aged care and community services sector.With a large multi‐site workforce and a strong focus on governance and employee experience they are seeking an experienced Workforce Compliance and Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations and workforce compliance across the organisation.About the Role This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to a seasoned payroll professional who enjoys working in complex multi‐award environments and partnering with executives to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.Reporting to the Head of Finance and leading a specialist payroll team you will be accountable for the delivery of accurate, compliant and timely payroll services for a diverse workforce.You will play a pivotal role in payroll governance, risk management, systems optimisation and stakeholder engagement contributing directly to workforce planning and organisational strategy.Key responsibilitiesEnd to end payroll delivery across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cyclesInterpretation and application of multiple Awards and industrial instruments including Aged Care SCHADS and Nurses AwardsEnsuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, STP, superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover and privacy obligationsOwnership of year‐end payroll processes, audits and statutory reportingLeadership of payroll systems optimisation, automation and digital transformation initiativesProvision of payroll insights and workforce reporting to support executive decision‐makingBuilding strong partnerships with Finance, People and Culture frontline leaders and external providersLeading mentoring and developing a high‐performing payroll functionAbout You You are a confident and credible payroll leader with strong technical expertise and a service‐oriented mindset.
