About the Role
Defence is seeking highly experienced professionals to support critical projects within Engineering, Technical and Materiel Logistics (ETML) Division, CASG. The role requires a senior SAP Engineering and Asset Management (EAM) Specialist who can support operational outcomes by providing subject matter expertise across the EAM module of the Defence ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support SAP master data management activities across EAM and related modules, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance.
* Provide subject matter expertise across the EAM modules of the Defence SAP S/4HANA system.
* Support data migration, transformation, and ETL activities using available tools within the Defence environment.
* Apply structured data governance principles to improve asset, maintenance, and engineering data quality.
* Support Defence Asset Management frameworks, including alignment to ISO 55000 principles.
* Provide expertise in maintenance and engineering business processes.
* Support operational readiness through accurate asset hierarchies, maintenance plans, task lists, and BOM structures.
* Contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability‐Centred Maintenance (RCM) activities where required.
* Engage with ETML business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into SAP‐enabled solutions.
* Lead or support process mapping, process improvement, and change management activities.
* Support ETML ERP Directorate leadership with data insights to assist with informed decision making.
* Work collaboratively across multi‐disciplinary teams to deliver agreed outcomes.
* Support colleagues and contribute positively to team culture, knowledge sharing, and collective success.
