Your Impact
Are you ready to take ownership of purchasing and planning in a dynamic, precision-driven manufacturing environment? You will be instrumental in aligning procurement with production schedules, ensuring materials are available when and where they're needed.
Working closely with the Logistics Manager and production teams, you'll manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using advanced ERP/MRP systems. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement are key.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update BOMs and product data in ERP/MRP systems.
Raise and manage purchase orders with approved suppliers.
Align procurement with production and sales forecasts.
Ensure accurate pricing, lead times, and supplier data.
Handle vendor credits, returns, and adjustments for faulty goods.
Conduct stock reviews and plan inventory for critical components.
Optimise purchasing across high-volume SKUs to support production.
Ensure material readiness for production planning and scheduling.
Collaborate across departments to enhance procurement processes.
Drive efficiency and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
About You
You are a detail-oriented procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment. You bring analytical precision, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement. You build strong supplier relationships and take pride in keeping purchasing systems running smoothly.
You'll bring:
3+ years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control (preferably in OEM or manufacturing).
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP/MRP systems.
Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach.
