TVN On-Country delivers projects in VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, and QLD. We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join our team based in Wodonga, Victoria.
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining detailed construction programs using industry-standard software such as MS Project, Primavera, etc.
* Writing and refining methodologies to guide project execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
* Collaborating with the tendering division team members to prepare comprehensive bid submissions.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and support the business development pipeline.
* Facilitating detailed handovers of project methodology and program to the delivery team upon project award, participating in Project Risk Assessments, and supporting updates during construction.
* Chairing and minuting weekly tendering meetings.
* Working closely with the estimating team to align methodology and programming with cost plans and delivery strategies.
* Ensuring all programs and methodologies comply with industry standards, client expectations, and project constraints.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Understanding HOTO requirements for defence projects to include specific content within tender submissions.
You will have
* Proven experience in construction programming and methodology development.
* Proficiency in construction scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in tendering and bid preparation.
* Experience in estimating is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Experience using PDF markup/editing tools like Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
* Australian citizenship with a clean record to obtain Defence clearance.
* Construction industry experience.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to receive Defence Security Clearance.
* Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or trade.
* Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
* Experience on Defence projects is highly regarded.
