The General Practitioner plays a key role in delivering holistic, culturally safe, and patient-centred primary health care services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Goldfields region.
General Practitioner with FRACGP/ FACRRM and a person who holds a current registration as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
Essential
* Unrestricted Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Practitioner.
* Possess Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM: comparable country equivalent.
* Understanding of Aboriginal Culture, values and health issues, social determinants.
* Awareness of AGPAL standards and requirements for maintaining General Practice Accreditation.
Requirements prior to commencement of employment
* Valid Working with Children Check (WA)
* National Criminal History Check Certificate (Police Clearance - valid within 3 months)
* Current AHPRA registration
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
