Expert Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated technical professional to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our support team, you will provide essential technical assistance, education, and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
* Responding to inquiries and providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for software and hardware problems.
* Providing support to clients for PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
* Determining software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
* Diagnosing, identifying, and resolving system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.
* Installing, downloading, and configuring system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment.
* Developing and conducting user training sessions and creating clear technical documentation, such as procedural and operational guides, to support end-users.
Essential Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
* Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter (including Rich Client, Active Workspace, and BMIDE).
Key Requirements
* Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solid Edge Portfolio including NX Portfolio for Design (Modeling, Mold Wizard, etc.), and Rhino.
* In-depth knowledge of PLM modules including Requirements Management, Change Management, BOM Management, MCAD Integration; programming and technical skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
