We're currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Multiskilled Carers to join our care team at Juniper Bethavon and Juniper The Residency, two well-established facilities located in Northam.
Our warm, homelike environment offers comfort and specialised support to residents, including those living with dementia. At Juniper, we're committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a supportive and respectful atmosphere for both residents and staff.
As a Multiskilled Carer, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily living, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement. You'll share responsibility for enhancing their quality of life, ensuring each individual feels valued, safe, and respected.
This role involves working casually across both Northam sites, to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with personal care needs like bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
* Support residents in maintaining or restoring their independence by assisting with activities of interest and mobility aids as needed
* Complete accurate and timely documentation, reporting relevant information to Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as required
* Maintain effective workplace communication, demonstrating respect, openness to change, and kindness
* Assist with medication administration in accordance with facility policies
Key Requirements:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (desirable)
* Experience working within an aged care setting as a carer
* Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
* Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goals
* Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
* Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction, and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents
