About the role:
This Casual/Permanent Part-Time position involves delivering in-home care to our aged care clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality care and have excellent communication skills.
The key responsibilities include:
* Assisting clients at home with general house cleaning, tidying and shopping.
* Communicating any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
* Maintaining client privacy and dignity, and encouraging the same among team members and contractors.
* Reporting consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
* Attending regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.
Requirements:
* You must be based in Geelong or nearby suburbs.
* You must be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30am - 4pm.
* You must hold a current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
* Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people is advantageous.
* You must hold a current Australian Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
