LIFEGUARDS & SWIM TEACHERS - Full Time - Part Time & Casual Roles available

As a Lifeguard you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons and play a key part in the daily operations of our pools.

The role includes the following:
* Watches over patrons to ensure they are safe
* Identifies potential threats to safety
* Rescues patrons in danger of drowning or in need of first aid
* Assists with swimming lessons
* Enforces the facility's rules
* Maintains a level of physical competence to carry out the job
* Inspects facility and immediately reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to supervisor
* Educate the public on the Keep Watch Policy.
* Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
* Maintain a safe, clean environment for all aquatic facility patrons.
* Respond promptly to emergencies as they arise.
* Report significant incidents to the appropriate personnel.
* Identify and report risks within Council premises.
* Maintain cleanliness of facility and aquatic areas.
* Carry out routine water testing.
* Carry out duties / tasks as directed.
* Carry out other duties as required
* Flexibility to work varies shifts which include early morning and evening, weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
Lifeguards must possess the following certificates:
* Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* Working with Children Blue Card
Desirable
* Swim Teachers Qualification or a willingness to get
Schedule:
* Afternoon shift
* Morning shift
* Public holidays
* Rotating roster
* Weekend availability
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $31.00 – $32.00 per hour
