Culinary Leader
This is a full-time role for a skilled Culinary Leader who oversees key aspects of food preparation and presentation. Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing kitchen workflow and maintaining high culinary standards.
* Creating innovative menus and dishes in collaboration with senior chefs.
* Guiding junior staff members through training and mentoring sessions.
* Maintaining quality control over food storage, inventory, and supplies.
* Ensuring strict adherence to food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
* Minimum 1 years' experience as a Senior Chef de Partie (or 2+ years in a similar role in a busy commercial kitchen).
* Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of modern cooking techniques, ingredients, and culinary trends.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Understanding of HACCP, food safety regulations, and workplace health & safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and evenings.
