Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Partner to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. Based at the site and reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, you’ll play a key role in shaping our HR strategy and nurturing a workplace culture built on collaboration, care, and genuine team member engagement.

What will you do?
- Provide day‑to‑day HR support to operational teams, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and resources to deliver exceptional service and meet business objectives
- Partner with operational leaders to build solid, collaborative relationships, offering strategic HR advice that drives positive business outcomes and supports long‑term goals
- Support business objectives by designing and implementing people initiatives tailored to operational needs
- Provide professional HR advice to on‑site operational teams and manage industrial relations matters
- Manage employee grievances, workplace investigations, and broader ER/IR matters with professionalism and discretion
- Review and update HR‑related documentation, assisting in the implementation of HR policies, processes, and initiatives
- Provide guidance on enterprise agreements, awards, and internal policies
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
More about you
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role, with a proven track record of embedding sound HR practices
- Experience working in a highly regulated, compliance‑driven environment; hospitality, gaming or retail experience will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated proficiency in HR systems and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
- Passionate about supporting, coaching, and guiding managers through HR processes and best practices
- Proven experience in handling workplace grievances and investigations
- Proven experience in delivering strategic HR projects and supporting employee engagement initiatives
