We currently have an opportunity available for capable and experienced labourers for work with a road maintenance team based at Hay.
This role will involve working full-time hours of 8.5 hours per day (76 hours over a 9-day fortnight) initially until Christmas, with good potential for further work continuing in the New Year.
A start of work ASAP is required.
An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates for additional hours of work.
Successful Applicants will need:
Current WHS White Card
Driver licence – essential, with MR licence or above a distinct advantage
Traffic control tickets – or willingness to obtain
Worker On Foot card – or willingness to obtain (online link will be provided for successful applicant to complete as part of onboarding)
Good all-round fitness for manual work tasks
Previous experience with road construction or maintenance would be a distinct advantage
Applicants need to be fit for physically demanding work and be a genuine team player.
You must also be willing to undertake a police records check prior to commencement of work.
