The Role
Training Operations Coordinator - ANZ is a site-based, permanent full-time role based in NW Tasmania. You will support the implementation and maintenance of a global operations training program, aligned with Simplot's focus on training and development of our manufacturing workforce. The role reports to the Learning & Development Manager and works with site-based Production & Maintenance teams and Training Operations Specialists.
Working Monday to Friday (4:1 WFH arrangement negotiable), this position is part of the Global Food Operations Training & Capability team across Australian manufacturing operations (Tasmania, Victoria, NSW).
What You Will Do
* Update and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) training records
* Schedule training activities for trainers and participants, and coordinate training facility bookings
* Track training program attendance and provide updates to stakeholders
* Monitor and report training KPIs for the ANZ region
* Monitor new-hire on-the-job training progress and provide reporting on trends
* Assist in coordinating Front-Line Leader and Future Leader programs and training sessions
* Procure and organise training materials and consumables
* Provide general administrative support to the Global Food Operations Training & Capability team as required
About You
* A 100% commitment to safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace
* Experience with Learning Management Systems (mandatory; Simplot uses SAP SuccessFactors)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task
* Attention to detail
* Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
* Experience in an operational environment is highly regarded
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from factory-based staff to leadership and external vendors
