The role
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Senior Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting and enhancing the effectiveness of the sales function by managing end-to-end administrative processes, maintaining CRM data, and driving lead and pipeline management activities. This role supports sales performance through timely coordination, reporting, and proactive follow-up with prospective clients, ensuring a smooth and structured sales process.

This role reports to the Growth Sectors and Partnership Manager.
Key responsibilities
•Process quotes, sales orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.
•Proactively follow up with leads and prospects to support engagement and conversion.
•Support the sales team in managing and progressing opportunities through the pipeline.
•Maintain up-to-date customer and sales data in Salesforce.
•Identify and qualify new leads through inbound enquiries, CRM insights and sales campaigns.
•Support sales forecasting and performance tracking.
•Recommend and implement improvements to streamline sales administration processes.
•Liaise with internal teams (e.g. finance, marketing) to ensure seamless client experiences.
•Provide data-driven insights to sales-focused marketing and communications campaigns.

Skills and competencies
•Proven experience in sales administration or sales operations or similar role.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other key stakeholders quickly and effectively
•Proficiency with CRM platforms (previous Salesforce experience will be well-regarded)
•Highly organised.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•High attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
