St Jakobi Early Learning Centre is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team. We currently have two positions available:
* Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) (Will consider 2026 start)
* Early Childhood Educator
St Jakobi is a birth to Year 6 learning community with a strong commitment to fostering children's growth and development through authentic, play-based experiences. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we value children as capable, curious, and full of potential, and are committed to providing rich, engaging learning environments that inspire exploration, creativity, and relationships.
As a recognised Preschool Partner for 2026 with the Office for Early Childhood Development, we are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who is excited to grow with us in this program and help shape its development into the future.
About the Roles
Early Childhood Teacher
* Approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification, or currently working towards.
* Ability and willingness to obtain a Special Authority to Teach if not yet fully qualified.
* Capacity to plan, implement and evaluate high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF and the Reggio Emilia approach.
* A desire to lead and grow with our preschool partnership program.
Early Childhood Educator
* Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Ability to actively contribute to a collaborative, professional team environment.
Essential Attributes
* Demonstrated commitment to child safety and embedding a child-safe culture.
* A passion for play-based, inquiry-driven learning.
* Interest in and/or experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired practice.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Employment Details
* Part-time (minimum 32 hours per week) or full-time positions available.
