Purpose of the Role To support governance, compliance, and board operations, ensuring Serve the City meets its obligations and operates with integrity.
This is a senior and trusted role that plays a key part in how the organisation is structured, protected, and supported as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare board agendas and take formal minutes
Maintain governance and compliance documentation
Assist with AGM preparation and requirements
Provide guidance on governance best practice
Support DGR-related compliance, highly desirable
Qualifications
Experienced in governance or board-level environments
Structured, calm, and detail-focused
Understanding of compliance and governance frameworks
Experience with not-for-profit organisations or DGR status highly desirable
Basic computer proficiency to manage emails and documents as well as good time management skills
A passion for giving back to the community and working collaboratively for a positive impact
Previous experience in community service or non-profit work is beneficial but not required
