Responsibilities
- Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with a focus on psychosocial care, treatment planning, risk assessment, and achieving outcomes for consumers.
- Address psychosocial stressors, champion family and cultural inclusion, and contribute specialist input around family and domestic violence and child protection.
- Support individuals at risk of homelessness and help people stay connected to their communities by linking them with networks and resources.
- Contribute to person-centred care within a dynamic and supportive environment, with regular clinical supervision and access to professional development.
About You
We are looking for a Social Worker who demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will work from a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed perspective, with the ability to complete thorough psychosocial assessments and engage with consumers, families, and carers.
You should understand how mental health impacts life experiences and be comfortable collaborating with a range of stakeholders. Flexibility, organisation, and clear written and verbal communication are essential in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Must hold at least a bachelor degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
