About the opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, the Manager Assets & Infrastructure provides strategic leadership across engineering, asset management and major projects.
The role is accountable for ensuring world-class lifecycle management of terminal infrastructure while balancing operational reliability, risk, cost and long-term asset sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the engineering, assets and projects functions to ensure safe, reliable and efficient infrastructure performanceDeveloping and implementing long-term asset management strategies aligned with business objectivesProviding expert technical and strategic advice to the CEO and Executive Leadership TeamOverseeing business-critical capital and infrastructure projectsDriving continuous improvement and innovation across asset systems and processesEnsuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirementsManaging whole-of-life asset planning, forecasting and cost optimisationBuilding capability and alignment across multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
About you
You are a strategic and commercially astute engineering leader who combines deep technical expertise with executive leadership capability. You bring a long-term view of asset stewardship and thrive in complex, asset-intensive environments.
You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (essential)Significant leadership experience within heavy industry, infrastructure, mining, processing or similar environmentsDemonstrated success leading multidisciplinary engineering or asset management teamsExperience delivering major capital or infrastructure projectsStrong commercial and risk management capabilityProven ability to influence at executive and stakeholder levelsA strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
Experience managing large-scale dynamic or structural assets will be highly regarded.
