About the team –
The ASC Leadership and Professionalism team drives capability uplift in the leadership of Australian sport. We do this by the development of individual and collective leadership skills and holistic, high performing cultures. We design and manage systems to ensure professional conduct standards are maintained, and sports are developed to appropriately deal with critical incidents. Our vision, that Australian sport is well led, is enabled by helping to deliver the \"Outstanding people and organisations\" priority areas of Win Well and Play Well sports strategies.
About the role –
This role is the central part of our team as we help drive leadership capability development in sport. The role requires daily stakeholder communications and logistic support. Project management, procurement and financial reporting experience is required for the role.
About you – You are:
* Interested in leadership, personal development, and team capability building within the sporting context.
* Motivated and have excellent attention to detail. You are self-driven and are confident working both autonomously and within a team setting.
* Capable of doing financial reporting, procurement, and project management.
* Highly adequate stakeholder management and communications skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Qualifications or experience in financial reporting, procurement and budget management.
* Demonstrated experience in providing high level strategic support and project management across diverse teams.
* Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
The below criteria are desired:
* An interest in leadership, personal development and team capability building within the sporting context.
* Knowledge of Australia’s high performance and participation sporting system.
* Experience working in learning and development and/or learning environment.
* Demonstrated experience of successfully managing and delivering diverse projects and programs both internally and to external audiences.
* Ability to travel domestically (as required).
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 24 December 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
