About the Role
Mother Kate’s Early Learning Centre (63-place, purpose-built) in Wondai is seeking a permanent part-time Assistant Director.
Reporting to the Centre Director, you’ll mentor staff, support daily operations, and help deliver a high-quality learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Director with daily operations and compliance
2. Mentoring educators and enhancing curriculum delivery
3. Building strong relationships with families and the local community
4. Providing hands-on support across the service
About You
You’ll bring:
1. A Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education
2. Valid Blue Card / Working with Children Check
3. Experience as a Senior Educator, Educational Leader, or Assistant Director
Extra skills we value (but will support you in):
1. First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
2. Understanding of the National Quality Framework
3. Confidence with rostering or admin tasks
