Electrical Service Technician – WA Windfarm project
Opportunity for experienced A-Grade Electricians to break into the Wind Industry Long-term roles, excellent pay, accommodation provided, and full training offered.
Due to the skills already on site, we will consider trade qualified candidates without Wind Farm experience with full training and qualifications offered for the right people.About the CompanyThis company is one of the world's leading suppliers of utility-scale wind turbine generators. They are known throughout the industry for the delivery, operation, and maintenance of high-quality, cost-effective wind farms to major power generators. They have offices on every continent and are currently experiencing a significant period of worldwide growth. About the RoleReporting directly to the Lead Technician, you will be part of the electrical service technicians who will ensure that operations and maintenance work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime to the assets on a major Wind farm based just 2.5 hours north of Perth.
* 3/1 or 5/2 DIDO roaster, 2 hours from Perth, option to travel home on rest days
* 12-month contract minimum with the option to extend

Duties
* Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily pre-start meetings
* Assist in the completion of Wind Turbine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
* Assist in maintaining wind farm Balance of Plant equipment
* Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
* Assist in achieving targeted wind farm performance standards
Skill, Experience and Qualifications – Essential
* Trade experience in Electrical field - licence must be Australian
* Current driving license
* Previous experience working on large commercial or industrial projects
* Working within a troubleshooting or fault-finding environment
* Physically fit and able to climb towers
