Your new role
As a Jet Truck Operator, you will inspect, clean, and maintain stormwater and sewerage pipes across Townsville. Your daily tasks will involve operating high‑pressure jetting equipment, completing pipe inspections, working in and around confined spaces, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. You’ll work Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, with occasional night shifts and overtime every second Saturday.
What you'll need to succeed
Mandatory licences & tickets:
* MR Licence
* High‑Pressure Water Jetting Ticket
* Construction White Card
* Confined Space Ticket
Highly desirable experience:
* Prior jet truck operating experience
* OR experience with: combination trucks or recycling trucks.
* Civil, drainage, stormwater, or sewer maintenance experience is a bonus.
* Strong safety mindset and reliability
What you'll get in return
In return, our client can offer an immediate start paying from $40ph + penalties depending on experience. This position will commence in a labour hire capacity with the view to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate. The roster will be Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with an opportunity for overtime on occasional Saturdays.
