About the Role
The Team Leader – Children & Parenting Services is responsible for the effective delivery of Children & Parenting programs across the New England & Northwest region. This role provides leadership, supervision, & support to staff to ensure high-quality, client-centred service delivery.
You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, ensuring compliance with program requirements, & aligning service delivery with organisational values & objectives. The role also includes maintaining a small, active client caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, & support staff to deliver high-quality Children & Parenting programs
* Conduct regular team meetings & individual supervision to support performance & well-being
* Build staff capability through coaching, development, & professional guidance
* Ensure programs meet contractual requirements, client needs, & service standards
* Monitor, evaluate, & continuously improve program outcomes
* Manage a small, active client caseload in line with program requirements
* Develop & maintain strong relationships with clients, families, & key stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with legislation, funding agreements, & organisational policies
* Maintain accurate data collection, record keeping, & documentation
* Prepare & submit monthly reports on program performance, outcomes, & service delivery insights

Essential Criteria
* Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Science, Community Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated leadership & team-building skills
* Strong communication & stakeholder engagement abilities
* Ability to manage competing priorities & meet deadlines
* Sound knowledge of community services frameworks, legislation, & best practice
* Capacity to balance leadership responsibilities with a clinical caseload
