The Quality and Safety Division leads and supports the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care across Central Queensland Health. Operating as a trusted business partner to all clinical delivery areas, we provide expert guidance, governance frameworks, and practical support to ensure care is delivered to the highest standards. About the role
* Provide high-level clinical nursing leadership within the Patient Safety Team.
* Coordinate education activities to build capability within the nurse and midwifery workforce.
* Collaborate on policy advice relating to professional practice and clinical research.
* Lead and coordinate clinical incident investigations using advanced problem-solving skills.
* Translate evidence-based research into practice to foster achievement of best practice outcomes.
About you
* You are a registered nurse with advanced clinical judgement and leadership experience.
* You have a proven ability to mentor staff and foster a culture of workplace learning.
* You possess specialist knowledge in safety and quality standards and legislation.
* You are a collaborative communicator who can build productive stakeholder relationships.
* You demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and research.
What we offer
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,095 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $68.86 - $74.76 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
