Construction Project Manager Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable project manager to join our team in Brisbane.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the construction department through all design phases until project completion.
* Briefly outline comprehensive project methodologies that address time, cost, quality, and safety considerations.
* Create detailed handover packages including cash flow, bill of quantities, and tender submissions.
* Manage mid-level and tender budgets effectively.
* Oversee program development and submission processes.
* Coordinate with quality assurance and health and safety managers to address high-risk areas.
* Develop and manage project risk registers throughout the design phase.
* Establish compliance documentation and project setups.
* Lead procurement and tendering processes for early works.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has at least 5 years experience in project management or contract administration.
* Possesses proven knowledge of early works packages.
* Holds a bachelor's degree or higher in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field.
* Demonstrates exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
* Displays strong problem-solving capabilities and remains calm under pressure.
* Posesses professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Has a high level of flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
