Our client is a Federal Government Agency undertaking a massive program of work.
The Senior Solutions Architect is an initial 12 months contract that can be based in any capital city in Australia (2 days per week in the office) and will require Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance.
The role is due to start on 18 the August but applications will close on 16 Th July 2025.
The EL2 Solution Architect is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes.
The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management functions. The position requires exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support.
The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and for providing technical leadership in designing and implementing robust solutions aligned with goals and strategic objectives. This key role will primarily focus on the following, ensuring alignment with the agency's enterprise architecture and security standards.
The role will cover:
* Microsoft Fabric Deployments
* MuleSoft Integration
* Data Analytics Solutions
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
* Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex technical architecture solutions primarily using Microsoft Azure, Azure Fabric, and Azure-to-AWS integration technologies with MuleSoft and Salesforce solutions.
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, cloud infrastructure teams, security teams, data engineering resources, enterprise architects and security architects to clearly define requirements and technical solutions.
* Ensure solution alignment with NDIA architecture reference models, policies, security standards, and ICT strategic roadmaps.
* Oversee and provide technical guidance on infrastructure implementation, identity and access management (IAM), security architecture, and cloud governance.
* Drive the development of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation practices, and DevOps methodologies.
* Ownership and accountability for leading and producing the delivery of clear and detailed technical solutions and technical documentation, including architecture blueprints, design documents, and implementation guidelines across the domain.
* Facilitate technical issue resolution and proactively manage solution architecture risks and dependencies.
