Signage Production/Print Operator
We have an opportunity for aSignage Production/Print Operatorto join our professional and friendly team based in Canning Vale.
Signarama Canning Vale is a growing team that has been producing all forms of signage throughout Perth since ****.
You will be responsible for producing a wide variety of signage using our modern equipment and software.
Duties include printing, laminating, weeding, application of vinyl to a variety of substrates, vehicle graphics and installs if required.
Qualifications
Have experience with Digital Printers, Plotters, RIP / Design software, Laminators
Previous hands-on experience installing and producing signs, and a passion for the sign industry
Be able to work successfully as part of a team
Ability to manage your own delegated workload and priorities, seeking solutions to problems on your own, and proactively communicating your progress
Ability to liaise with customers and management to ensure desired outcomes are achieved
Be reliable, punctual and well presented
Have strong attention to detail
Be physically fit (heavy/manual lifting up to 30kg)
Willing to maintain safe work practices at all times
Drivers Licence (Manual preferred)
Comfortable working with sharp hand tools including knives and battery operated power tools
Capable of working at heights off ladders and elevated work platforms preferred but not essential
EWP Certificate preferred but not essential
Responsibilities
Interpreting approved proofs and producing signage as required
Manage print production and maintain workflow
Coordinate with sales, management and installers to meet timelines
General production, manufacture and assembly of signage in large workshop environment
Ordering stock and consumables
Assisting on installations if required
