About the Opportunity
Engineers Australia is seeking a skilled director to join its Board and contribute to the organization's growth and transformation. As a senior leader, you will play a key role in guiding the organization through significant business and digital changes.
We are looking for an individual with expertise in large-scale transformation, strategic people management, and economic positioning. Your knowledge of capital markets and ability to understand the future value of engineering in the Australian economy will be valuable assets to our Board.

Skillset
1. Transformation experience: overseeing large-scale business and digital change at Board or CEO level
2. Strategic people management: contemporary knowledge and experience overseeing workforce and volunteer management models in membership organizations or organizations with a significant volunteer base
3. Economic outlook and positioning: contemporary knowledge of capital markets, particularly institutional investment, and understanding of the future value of engineering in the Australian economy

Benefits
An initial term of 2 years with potential for re-appointment by the Board at its discretion. A commitment of approximately 30 days per annum for meetings and preparation, excluding travel time. The Board will typically schedule 6 Board meetings per year as well as an annual planning day.
