Asset Accounting Director
The Asset Accounting Director will play a crucial role in leading the Asset Accounting team and driving the asset reporting function for the Defence organisation.
This senior leadership position requires excellent strategic management and leadership skills, as well as proven experience in stakeholder engagement and communication.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing large and complex fixed assets bases, understanding of statutory financial statements, and thorough understanding of the linkage between asset accounting and statutory financial statements.

Key responsibilities include leading teams in meeting Defence's statutory financial reporting obligations, detailed monitoring and management of Defence balance sheet items, and driving timely and accurate completion of asset accounting activities.
The Director will operate with considerable independence to deliver and drive the asset reporting function for the Defence organisation, working closely with the Executive Director Financial Accounting and Assets and the Chief Finance Officer.
