Key Responsibilities:
Our team seeks a highly skilled professional to develop and maintain model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models for the HCF Combat System.
This role involves collaborating with shipbuilders and combat system integrators to ensure seamless alignment of contractor MBSE models within our tools.
Responsibilities include performing configuration management and MBSE activities using Cameo, CMT-U, Windchill, and DOORS.
Additionally, you will engage stakeholders and industry partners to facilitate effective data transfer, model alignment, and support system design/implementation.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality outcomes by meeting key performance indicators, including the development and delivery of the HCF Combat System MBSE model.
About the Role:
This position is a critical component of our team responsible for delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.
We are seeking an experienced model-based systems engineer to join our team in Adelaide, or ACT/NSW/VIC to work on MIWS projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical understanding of naval and combat systems, and experience with MBSE (Cameo) and configuration management (CMT-U).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, along with the ability to work both independently and within teams.
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
