Exciting opportunities await an energetic, self-motivated and passionate National Account Manager to work with one of our key customers – McDonald's. The position is responsible for the management and growth of the commercial relationships with the respective McDonald's team and for the achievement of the set financial, category, strategic, marketing and sales plan objectives.
Preferred location based in Sydney and reporting to the Customer Director for Foodservice, you will be responsible for managing our dairy portfolio in our business that are critical for our success.
You will be actively involved and responsible to drive the following:
* Build and strengthen the strategic partnership with McDonald's to maximise category growth and commercial outcomes for all parties.
* Manage the relationship with Martin Brower to ensure supply chain performance and service metrics are consistently achieved.
* Lead the Joint Business Plan, including defining and driving key growth initiatives.
* Deliver volume, revenue and margin targets in line with the annual business plan.
* Own the commercial management of the McDonald's account, including forecasting, pricing maintenance, claims reconciliation and sales gap-closure planning.
* Oversee pricing and tender processes.
* Collaborate with Quality, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Demand Planning on product development, launches and customer-specific requirements.
* Run monthly cross-functional WIP meetings to ensure alignment, accountability and clear communication across Lactalis and customer teams.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems and customer engagement.
* Manage all administrative processes including new line setup, forecasting inputs, pricing updates and internal stakeholder communication.
To ensure your success in this role you will have:
* 5 years' experience in National Account Management;
* A Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or related fields is preferred;
* Strong leadership, analytical, organisational/time management, conflict resolution, presentation and negotiation skills.
You will be commercially competent, a sharp negotiator, and have a strong understanding of our competitive environment and unique market challenges. Your ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external customers is paramount with demonstrated knowledge of FMCG sales and trends. Experience with excel and SAP/BW sales will be well regarded. Your leadership style is achievement focused and collaborative, and as a team player you gain internal alignment to deliver sustainable profitable growth.
