Territory Sales Manager - Companion AnimalPermanent full‐time role with competitive remuneration, benefits and tools of trade provided e.g. car, laptop, iPad etc.Based South Australia: Greater Adelaide and surrounding areasTerritories covered: South AustraliaWork with a high performing, agile and passionate sales teamFull training provided: TSM role would suit a passionate, motivated sales orientated individual with an interest in Companion Animal HealthBe part of a trusted global leader in Animal Health with market‐leading productsThe primary responsibility of the Territory Manager is to maximise sales across the company's product range within a designated territory. The Territory Manager is based in field within their defined territory and reports to the Regional Sales Manager/Sales Lead.What You Will Do Responsibilities include, however not limited to:Meet sales and activity targets for your territory and productsCreate and adjust territory plans to hit targetsBuild strong relationships with veterinarians, vet nurses, store managers, field reps, vet technicians and business managersUse the technical services team to influence customers and support technical messaging that drives salesLeverage business relationships to deliver resultsIdentify customer needs and show how our Animal Health products and services solve themExecute defined promotional tactics to maximise salesProvide technical and sales training to wholesalers and customers to ensure accurate end‐user messagingManage product complaints, pricing queries, compliance issues and follow‐ups within required timelinesDeliver corporate sales presentations to consumer groups, customers and wholesalers as neededAnalyse customer data in MAXX (Salesforce) and other sources to guide territory, customer and call planning and target high‐value customersRecord customer interactions in CRM systems such as MAXX (Salesforce) to set next call objectives and build a single customer view for marketingMaintain strong product knowledge and a broader understanding of Animal Health issuesCommunicate effectively across sales and marketing, share knowledge and contribute positively in team meetings and marketing forumsWhat You Must HaveTertiary business or science degree preferredProven commercial success in sales essentialIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency with other technologies such as iPad essentialAbility to build long‐term relationshipsAbility to explain technical information clearlyHigh flexibility and resilienceStrong negotiation and influencing skillsLogical problem‐solving abilityExcellent written and oral communication, including audio‐visual presentationsExcellent organisational skills and timely customer responseStrong teamwork, collaboration and inclusive behavioursSelf‐starter with initiative who works well with minimal supervisionAbility to make day‐to‐day decisions for routine activitiesWhat You Can ExpectPlay a pivotal role by bringing your sales talent to a market‐leading global Animal Health organisation with trusted brands and innovative productsJoin a close‐knit, collaborative team of like‐minded professionals who celebrate wins and share knowledgePurpose driven work improving animal health outcomes for customers and communitiesReceive ongoing development, coaching and support with clear progression pathways and access to industry‐leading trainingCompetitive salary with performance‐related bonus and recognition programmesWe are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
