To further complement our team of educators, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, mature, and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) who possesses a warm, caring and respectful manner of children's learning needs and the environment in which they grow and learn and are thoughtfully nurtured. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators to deliver a rich play-based learning program that inspires curiosity and a love of learning.
Our ideal ECT will be actively involved in a variety of enriching experiences that extend beyond the classroom, including our unique beach kindy program, turtle conservation initiatives, and regular excursions to the library. You will also contribute to meaningful conciliation efforts with local prep schools to support smooth transitions and strong school readiness partnerships.
We are proud to offer a dynamic curriculum that includes engaging music and sports programs, as well as the opportunity to build valuable connections with our local council. We're looking for an ECT with innovative ideas- someone eager to share and implement creative approaches to the children's learning helping to elevate our service and inspire both children and educators alike.
You will possess the following attributes:
· Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standard and National Framework
. Bachelor qualified or studying toward (Min 50%)
· Working knowledge of the QKLG and Early Years Learning Framework.
· Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.
· Provide a creative environment that engages children and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills.
· Current Senior First Aid certificate.
· CPR including Anaphylaxis and Asthma.
· Current working with Children Check
· Have a true passion for Early Childhood Education and Care.
