Overview
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced HV Electrician to join our team. In this role, you’ll travel to various customer sites across Australia, supporting our branches by performing HV servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on Caterpillar power systems and equipment.

What you\'ll be doing
- Performing diagnostic testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of high voltage electrical equipment and systems.
- Flying to customer sites and locations on an ad hoc basis.
- HV Asset acquisition, including procurement, integration, and up fit of fleet units for new assets.
- Allocation of HV fleet to Branches.
- Ensuring the HV fleet is fully compliant with all regulatory requirements and EPSA and Caterpillar standards.
- Management of the HV fleet life cycle (including standards and processes and set timings for servicing, refurbishment, and compliance).
- Working on HV refurbishment projects.
- Ensuring development and application (and auditing) of consistent systems, processes, and tools for HV (including servicing and service administration) across all branches.
What we\'re looking for
- Qualified Electrician with a current HV Licence and extensive experience working on high voltage electrical systems.
- Unrestricted state Electrical Workers License.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- HV Switching Ticket (preferred).
- Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with HV & LV electrical switchgear and systems.
- Exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities.
- Experience terminating, joining, repairs & testing.
