The Role This Assistant Accountant position plays a key role within the Asset Commercial Team, supporting financial operations across revenue, cost allocation, month-end processes and reporting.
Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll contribute to accurate financial outcomes, meaningful analysis and improvements to systems and processes.
Responsibilities Assist with end-of-month reporting and ensure accuracy of overhead GL accounts Process motor vehicle revenue, cost allocations and monthly MV billing Manage yard revenue and cost allocations Prepare standing journals including accruals and prepayments Perform monthly inventory management and journals Prepare intercompany invoices in line with internal timetables Complete Fuel Tax Credit allocation and insurance aggregate reconciliations Maintain assigned balance sheet reconciliations Prepare monthly revenue, cost and damage reports Analyse vehicle revenue/cost variances and prepare commentary Maintain asset register (additions
