We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Procurement Manager to lead the integration of environmental, social, governance (ESG), and ethical considerations into our procurement and supply chain practices. The role is a 12 month Fixed Term contract. This role is crucial in ensuring alignment with our sustainability strategy, minimising environmental impact, and promoting ethical sourcing. 
The day to day 
Develop and implement responsible sourcing strategies and sustainable supplier management practices. 
Manage end-to-end supplier due diligence processes to address ESG risks and opportunities. 
Support strategic procurement projects that contribute to achieving organisational sustainability targets. 
Ensure compliance with legislative reporting obligations, including modern slavery, climate-related disclosures, and annual sustainability reporting. 
Collaborate in public-facing commitments by promoting transparency, publishing progress against ESG goals, and engaging stakeholders through accessible and accountable reporting. 
Develop and lead the Responsible Procurement Framework, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emerging trends, and internal policies and strategies. 
Lead supplier diversity initiatives and support programs for SMEs, Indigenous, veteran-owned, and women-led businesses. 
Why you are our next Responsible Procurement Manager 
Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field with a strong focus on sustainability initiatives. 
In-depth understanding of Responsible Procurement principles, environmental and social impact assessments, and relevant laws and regulations. 
Experience in supporting the development of procurement strategies, policies, and processes to advance positive social and environmental impact. 
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
Understanding of environmental, social, and governance challenges and opportunities within the supply chain. 
Proficiency in category management and category plan development. 
Relevant certifications or qualifications in procurement or sustainability.
