Job Summary
We are seeking a Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and providing nursing expertise and knowledge to the Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Conditioning and Pulmonary Rehabilitation outpatient programs.
The role also involves inpatient education for patients with cardiac and/or pulmonary diagnosis.
Main Responsibilities
1. Coordinating and providing nursing expertise and knowledge to Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Conditioning and Pulmonary Rehabilitation outpatient programs
2. Inpatient education for patients with cardiac and/or pulmonary diagnosis
Key Qualifications
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Pulmonary and cardiac knowledge and experience including an understanding of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs and associated processes
* Experience in health promotion and chronic disease management
