About the Role
Belle Banne Conveyor Products are looking to foster a new team member who can continue this legacy of being a highly regarded resource for the provision of technical support to the bulk materials handling industry. In this critical role you'll work closely with our internal engineering team and learn to provide technical support to national and international customers, in areas including design and supply of conveyor components, site audits, and conveyor operation troubleshooting.
This role involves:
* Accompanying team members on site visits during site audits.
* Learning to provide independent technical and analytical support to customers.
* Reviewing and updating company technical literature.
* Operating 3D laser scanning equipment on site and processing scans.
* Assisting team members with the generation of technical documents including QA/QC, Manuals, Inspection Forms, etc.
* Assisting with root cause analysis on equipment failures and providing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
* Assisting with conveyor improvement projects, including the evaluation and integration of new technologies.
* Monitoring improvements and identifying key areas for supply chain enhancements.
This role involves the full support of a technical team from our dynamic small business, offering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience with, or understanding of, drafting and 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and recommend effective solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to workplace safety.
* Willingness to engage in national and international travel.
