About the role
Guardian Facilities and Property Management Pty ltd is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled - Handy Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Maintenance & Handyperson Services division, responsible for providing a wide range of property maintenance and repair services to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of residential and commercial properties
2. Conduct routine inspections and identify any issues requiring attention
3. Carry out minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, gardening and painting work as needed
4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks
5. Liaise with clients in the health, local government and body corporates, you will be expected to assist contractors and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation online for related to work performed
7. Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
1. Demonstrated experience as a multi-skilled handyperson or maintenance technician
2. Proficiency in a range of trade skills, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, lawn and garden care
3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Current driver's license and reliable transportation (work vehicle maybe negotiated with the right applicant)
7. Commitment to workplace health and safety
