**About the role** The Centre for Forensic Science is recruiting a **Lecturer in Digital Forensic Science**. This an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to undertake teaching duties and develop academic program with a focus on digital forensic science. In this role you will contribute to the continued growth of forensic science research, proactively engage with industry professionals, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students. **About You** You have demonstrated tertiary teaching in forensic science teaching programs. As a Lecturer you will be an engaging communicator with a strong interest in supporting a positive student experience. To be successful, you will also ideally have the following attributes:
- PhD or equivalent experience in an area of computing, IT or related fields, relevant to forensic science investigation or in forensic science with a focus on digital forensic science
- Strong research publication track record
- Ability to secure competitive research grants
**Base salary range**:$121,566 to $143,880 pa (Level B) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) **in addition** to the base salary.
