Full-Time or Part-Time Podiatrist

Podium Podiatry is located in Drouin, with additional clinics in Mt Eliza, Korumburra and Wheelers Hill. To meet the demand of West Gippsland’s growing population, we have 2 full-time positions available at our Drouin clinic. We are also happy to discuss part-time work if full-time does not suit your lifestyle.
Position Overview:
Podium Podiatry is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time (or part-time) podiatrist to join our dynamic team in Drouin. Our clinic is committed to providing exceptional foot care and rehabilitation services to our community. We welcome both new graduates and experienced podiatrists who are eager to make a positive impact in the field. Early in 2025, we are moving from our current four-room clinic in Drouin (we have been in this location for 11 years) to a new six-room clinic. We provide full reception support, including billing, bookings, payments, and sterilization of instruments. We pride ourselves on ensuring our clinical team can focus on patient care while our admin team handles the day-to-day running of the clinic.
Salary Structure:
Please note we do not operate on a commission basis. This role is a salaried position as we believe that commission can lead to unfair practices. We offer well above the award rate as a wage, reflecting what we as owners are happy to receive. All wages are before superannuation is added. We provide four weeks of holiday per year and sick leave.
New Graduates: $80,000 per annum
12-24 Months Experience: $85,000 per annum
24-36 Months Experience: $90,000 per annum
36-48 Months Experience: $95,000 per annum
4+ Years Experience: $120,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot health.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric conditions.
3. Perform minor surgical procedures and orthotic fittings.
4. Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in podiatry or equivalent qualification.
2. Current registration with Ahpra.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication skills.
