Overview

Position Profile: The Medical Imaging Technologist examines patients in a professional manner and provides diagnostic services as required by the medical profession.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. In addition, you may be required to undertake a Working with Children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and past ethical behavior. Adverse information will be considered as part of the appointment process.

This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. For further information please refer to the WWC website.

Completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required. Any offer of employment is conditional on a satisfactory PEHA to ensure you can perform the position. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. See the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for details.

These options remain valid for twelve (12) months from the date the recruitment decision is endorsed.
