Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs is seeking an experienced and hands-on Department Manager to lead our award-winning Hot Springs Sanctuary.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations across Reception (including Gift Shop & Salt Therapy), Pool Attendants and Cleaning teams. You will work closely with senior management to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain operational excellence, and drive team performance.
About the Role
As Manager, you will:
* Lead and mentor a customer-focused team across multiple facets within your department
* Coordinate daily operations, rostering, and performance management
* Maintain high standards of service, presentation and safety
* Support revenue growth through upselling and product knowledge
* Drive revenue growth, reporting and departmental administration
* Ensure compliance with OH&S and operational procedures
* Act as first point of call for shift coverage and operational needs

About You
You will bring:
* Proven leadership experience within hospitality, wellness, hotel or tourism environments
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Financial literacy, including budget and P&L understanding
* Excellent communication skills across diverse teams and guests
* A hands-on, proactive management style
* First Aid & CPR certification (essential)
You are calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and motivated to create a positive and inclusive team culture.
Hours & Flexibility
* Working within a 7-day operation, with shared weekend and public holiday shifts
* Seasonal flexibility required
