The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our Adelaide Branch.
In this role, you will work closely with our superior automation and process control product lines, engaging with OEMs, manufacturers, contractors and consultants. You will be responsible for driving growth in the region through a mix of account management and proactive business development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in your territory
* Identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence
* Promoting our product range and providing technical support where required
* Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
* Achievement of sales and profit targets by implementing and executing individual and team sales strategies.
* Responsible for the development and expansion of our market share through account management and business development activities within the region.
* Understanding various channels to market and systematically works with varying types of customers such as OEMS, Manufacturers, Contractors & Consultants.
* Sales lifecycle management from lead nurturing to closing of the sale and after sales follow up.
* Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings, workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
This role is field-based rather than office-bound. You will need to be self-motivated, well-organised and confident working independently while representing Remtron professionally.
The Candidate
You may already be an industry professional, or you may be an electrical specialist looking to stay technically challenged while stepping into a new career path.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, curious about technology, and excited by the challenge of creating solutions that add real value for customers.
Required Experience:
Ideal candidate will need to have a Bachelor Degree qualification OR at least five years of relevant experience in lieu.
Ideally, you will bring:
* A proven track record in B2B sales
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders
* A proactive "hunter" mindset, capable of generating new business from both existing accounts and new opportunities
* Technical knowledge of automation, drives, sensors or related products (highly regarded)
* Experience selling to contractors, OEMs and end users (preferred)
* Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
* An eagerness to learn and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
