We are seeking an Operations Accountant to join a high‐performing finance team, supporting key operational areas including inventory, manufacturing, freight, and capital assets. You will play a key role in ensuring financial control and reporting across operational functions, with a strong focus on costing, inventory, and fixed assets. This will suit a hands‐on Accountant with experience in management, cost, or site accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the fixed asset register, depreciation, and capitalisation
* Oversee CAPEX reporting and construction-in-progress (CIP)
* Partner with operations and project teams on asset accounting
* Oversee inventory valuation and stock reconciliations
* Monitor slow‐moving and obsolete stock provisions
* Ensure accurate stock movement and reporting
* Review freight costs, accruals, and allocations
* Support costing across manufacturing and operations
* Partner with operations to analyse cost drivers and performance
* Month‐end journals, reconciliations, and reporting
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
About You
* CA/CPA qualified, or close to qualifying
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in management, cost, or site accounting (beyond a pure technical financial accounting role)
* Exposure to inventory, fixed assets, or operational finance
* Strong Excel skills
* Curious and motivated – you are eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
* Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
