Midlands Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar & Gaming Supervisor to join our team on a full‑time basis. This hands‑on leadership role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, supporting team development, and helping foster a welcoming club environment for all members and guests.
As a key leader within our hospitality team, you will oversee the daily operations of our bar and gaming areas, ensuring excellent service standards, smooth operations, and compliance across all activities.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Supervise day-to-day bar and gaming operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service
* Lead, train, and support staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Ensure all RSA, RSG, Gaming Licence and regulatory requirements are met
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service
* Respond to customer enquiries and issues professionally, escalating to management when required
* Assist with staff rostering
* Oversee gaming room operations, payouts, and procedures
* Support stock control processes
* Assist with cash handling and reconciliations
* Work closely with management to help deliver club events and promotions
About You
You will be a great fit if you have:
* Previous experience supervising bar and/or gaming operations
* Current RSA, RSG and Gaming Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good knowledge of gaming operations, compliance, TAB and Keno
* Strong organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* A positive, can‑do attitude and a collaborative team approach
* Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

About Midlands Golf Club
Located in Ballarat's north, Midlands Golf & Bowls Club is a thriving community hub known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional customer experiences. Over the next 18 months, the Club will undergo major renovations, enhancing our facilities across Golf, Bowls, Bingo, Gaming and Hospitality. The Club is also home to the Ballarat RSL Sub Branch.
